150 Years and Still Going Strong!

1859 - 2009

Owen Chapel welcomes you to our 150th Anniversary!

Starting from a log cabin back in 1859, Owen Chapel moved into the current building in 1867. This building has stood, been updated, and required minimal repairs for 142 years!

On October 18, 2009 Owen Chapel will celebrate its 150th anniversary with a special Homecoming service. Congregants will meet and greet one another from 9:00 until 10 A.M. The service will start with the singing of traditional psalms and hymns of worship.

We are saddened that Marlin Connlley, our keynote speaker, will be unable to join us due to a heart attack.
However we are happy that he is resting comfortably and is expected to make a full recovery
